Mr. Henry is the founding partner of New Quest Solutions LLC, a technology and capital markets consultancy based in New York and Connecticut. He has an extensive background in financial service technology spanning research, analytics, high performance computing and trading strategies. He is a well known and respected authority and advisor to a number of high profile firms both here in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Henry was Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and Chief Technology Officer for the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities division along with the Credit Risk, Market Risk and Treasury divisions. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Ciaran was Chief Technology Officer in the Credit Derivatives, Emerging Markets and Electronic Trading units at JP Morgan Chase. Prior to that assignment, he held senior technology positions at Credit Suisse First Boston, Lehman Brothers, Salomon Brothers Inc. and Swiss Bank Corporation with a total of 22 years in the industry in Europe and the US.
Ciaran has been deeply involved in electronic trading and the Internet for many years. Among his notable achievements are his contributions to the launch and success of TradeWeb and he was technical board member for Credit Suisse at BrokerTec. These startups created over $1Bn for their investors. At Credit Suisse Mr. Henry was responsible for all electronic trading across Equities and Fixed Income and delivered the first Algorithmic trading platform to the firms clients using the FIX protocol. Mr. Henry has also been responsible for innovation in the delivery of online analytics and research content to extremely large markets and has built and run many Web 2.0 properties used by many thousands with high levels of speed and reliability.
In addition to his advisory role with Suite LLC, Mr Henry is a board advisor to an online wealth management venture based in China and to an electronic trading startup based in New York. He began his career as a microelectronics engineer in his native Ireland where he graduated in Microelectronics and Communications engineering.
Craig W. Abbott – Strategic Advisor to Suite LLC
Mr. Abbott is a strategic advisor to Suite LLC and its new ventures and partnerships. He is the managing partner of CWA Advisors and has an extensive background in financial services with a focus on linking the technology, operations and financial control specialists directly with business generation and revenue producers.
He has managed the rapid introduction and growth of many new and innovative products in the areas of derivatives, payment products, operating risk management, strategic outsourcing and business continuity planning in both foreign and domestic locations. He brings a team oriented approach to the identification and analysis of problems and opportunities with a unique ability to spot new applications for emerging technology and product ideas.
Mr. Abbott started his career in New York with Citibank’s Operating Group before moving to Chicago to join First Chicago Corporation where he directed its European systems and operations as their international branch network was consolidated and reconfigured. His other career assignments included Chief Operating Officer in London for Swiss Bank Corporation , Managing Director of derivatives technology and operations for Lehman Brothers Inc. and Chief Administrative Officer for the North American units of Caisse des Depots (now Natixis). Craig established CWA Advisors in 2001 as a consulting and advisory firm to bring his experience in business development, enterprise project management, strategic business startups and technology innovation to financial services firms in the U.S. and abroad.
Craig has a degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire and graduated from the University of Houston’s Executive Management Program where he was selected and sponsored by Citibank. He is a Director of Cochrane Ranche, a Canadian mineral and resource company in Calgary, Alberta.
