About Suite

In 2002 Suite made a commitment to stand behind the Cygnifi™ line of derivatives risk-management software. JP Morgan contributed their internally-developed products to empower the ASP spin-off to deliver “Simple Access to Sophisticated Capabilities”. To date we have enabled more than thirty organizations to acquire these best-of-breed programs for on-site deployment. Improvements made in close cooperation with our market-leader practitioner clients have yielded pricing and risk-management tools that are robust, transparent, interoperable and extendible.

In 2003 Suite purchased the intellectual property rights to all of the Cygnifi technology, including the exclusive rights to the Cygnifi name, trademarks and other proprietary assets. We engaged Dr. Gene Schupak in the same year to lead our quantitative direction. He designed enhancements to the ALib product to support single- and multiple-name credit derivatives. Those credit analytics are in use today for trading, pricing and hedging; as well as for an execution platform you may just be using for trading credit derivatives online.

Our Approach:

Although we support object-code versions of the tools, many of our clients choose to receive source code. A client in possession of source code enjoys ultimate transparency; they can build and integrate their proprietary models within a fully supported, well-proven framework. This fosters a cooperative relationship, which is the most important part of our philosophy.
