Suite LLC's ALib™ enhancements focus on flexibility, transparency and ease of use

Suite LLC, vendor of financial analytics for derivatives pricing and risk management releases upgrade to ALib™, a leading quantitative analytics library.

Version 3.25 sees the next phase in the roll out of both Suite's new general object and convention framework and its enhanced Python interface. This follows positive user feedback from the enhancements introduced in 3.24.

The enhancements provide full backward compatibility - users can apply the new generation of functions to old curves, or old functions to the new generation of curves. This allows clients to take advantage of the new infrastructure without completely overhauling their existing spreadsheets.

Dr. Gene Schupak, Suite Partner and head of Quantitative Development states, "As we continue along this path, the number of different ALib™ functions that you need to use - and the number of arguments that you need to supply - has decreased significantly. This provides a more intuitive user experience and increases consistency across different markets, different spreadsheets and different interfaces."

James Baker, Suite's Product Manager says, "the Python interface and the new Jupyter notebook examples are now sufficiently easy to work with that even a non-programmer can quickly become proficient in using them. This simplifies the migration of the analytics on to more modern environments for clients who are replacing their legacy systems but wish to preserve their pricing and risk management policies”
